Also known as Arabian star flower. A tall, elegant early summer bulb bearing clusters of white starry flowers with striking black, bead-like ovaries at the centre.
A superb plant for the patio or greenhouse. Half-hardy bulb can also be plunged into summer borders and lifted for over-wintering in a frost-free position.
